Description of Coverage:

Definition:  "You or "Your" means the enrolled Member.  The term "You" or "Your" shall also include each Family Member.  Family Member means the Member's spouse and all unmarried children under 21 years of age (or less than 23 years of age if a full-time student at an accredited college or university), who have the same principal residence as the Member.

Please note: (Maryland) if discount dental is offered either stand alone or as part of a membership AND the employer pays for it, coverage is excluded in Maryland;  HOWEVER, if it's offered as part of a membership program AND the member pays for it, coverage is included.

How To File a Claim

How to file a claim:

• Members call the toll-free number 800-800-7616, or visit our website to receive a listing of participating providers in their area. 
• The Member presents their membership card bearing the Aetna Dental Access® logo at participating locations to receive savings on their procedures. 
• The total discounted fee must be paid at the time of service in order to receive a discount.

Variations and/or Exclusions

Procedures not included in Aetna’s fee schedule are billed to the member at 100% of the provider’s Usual and Customary Fee.
