Hotel/Motel – Fire/Theft
Overview
If you lose personal property due to a theft or fire while staying in a hotel/motel room, this will replace your personal property up to $250 in cost through reimbursement of replacement.
- Reimbursement of the cost to replace personal property in the possession of the Member while traveling that is stolen or destroyed by fire while in the hotel/motel room in which the Member is a registered guest.
- Costs reimbursed up to $250 per claim, $500 per year.
- Covered items include camera, cell phone, PDA, etc.
Description
Provides coverage for actual cash value of personal property, which YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH against theft and fire from Motel/Hotel room (located in U.S.) while a registered guest at that property.
- $250.00 aggregate maximum amount payable in any one claim.
- $500.00 annual aggregate per member per year.
- This coverage is excess of any other applicable insurance.
Exclusions - This policy does not cover:
- Loss or damage due to wear and tear.
- Fraudulent, dishonest, or criminal acts to whom the property may be entrusted.
- Automobiles, motorcycles, boats, motors, or other conveyances or their accessories.
- Portable phones, household furniture, merchandise for sale, or exhibition, currency, coins, deeds, stamps, securities, tickets, documents, contact lenses, furs, jewelry, prosthetic devices, perishables and animals.

- In the event of theft, a police report must be filed to be a valid claim.
- All claims must be received within thirty (30) days of occurrence.
